Prince of Peace Catholic School Band

The Prince of Peace Band is open to all 4th – 8th grade students of all experience levels. 

All bands focus on performance and both the social and educational aspects of being a member of a band and learning an instrument. Beginner band requires no previous experience, while Concert band requires at least 1 year of experience on your instruments. All musicians will perform on campus for a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, Pep Rallies, and other activities throughout the school year. Students are also eligible to attend the additional community concerts throughout the year, including at a Dallas Stars Game in April.

 Students can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass guitar, or drums.

Wednesday, September 3 during school: Student Instrument Selection Class Visits

Wednesday, September 3 at 6:30 PM: Parent Information & Instrument Rental Meeting – Cana Center

Tuesday, September 9: Band Begins

Tuesday, September 2: After School Band & Orchestra Begins

Christmas Concert (All Bands): Wednesday, December 10 at 6:00 PM in the Gym

Christmas Pep Rally (All Bands): Friday, December 19 at 9:00 AM in the Gym (tentative)

Spring Concert for the School (All Bands) : Wednesday, April 29 at 2:00 PM (no parents)

Spring Concert for Parents (All Bands) : Wednesday, April 29 at 6:00 PM

Final Band Rehearsals: Wednesday, May 13
