St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School Band

The St. Thomas Band  is open to all 4th – 8th grade students of all experience levels. 

All bands focus on performance and both the social and educational aspects of being a member of a band and learning an instrument. Beginner band requires no previous experience, while Concert band requires at least 1 year of experience on your instruments. All musicians will perform on campus for a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, Pep Rallies, and other activities throughout the school year. Students are also eligible to attend the additional community concerts throughout the year, including at a Dallas Stars Game in April.

 Students can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass guitar, drums, or violin.

Tuesday, August 26 at 5:30 PM: Parent Information & Instrument Rental Meeting – Drama Room

Tuesday, September 2: Beginner Band Begins

Wednesday, September 2: Concert Band Begins

Christmas Concert (All Bands): Wednesday, December 17 at 8:00 AM in the Gym

March 23 – April 20: Bands meet in St. Dominic’s due to musical

Spring Concert (All Bands) : Wednesday, May 6 at 8:00 AM
