St. Rita Catholic School Band

The St. Rita Band & Orchestra is open to all 4th – 8th grade students of all experience levels. 

All bands focus on performance and both the social and educational aspects of being a member of a band and learning an instrument. Beginner band requires no previous experience, while Concert band requires at least 1 year of experience on your instruments. All musicians will perform on campus for a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, Pep Rallies, and other activities throughout the school year. Students are also eligible to attend the additional community concerts throughout the year, including at a Dallas Stars Game in April.

 Students can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass guitar, or drums

Wednesday, August 20 during school: 4th Grade Student Instrument Demonstration

Thursday, August 21 – Tuesday, August 26 during school: Student Instrument Selection Class Visits

Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 PM: Parent Information & Instrument Rental Meeting – Cafeteria

Wednesday, August 13: 5-8 Elective Bands Begin

Wednesday, September 3: 4th Grade Band Begins
