St. Andrew School Band

The St. Andrew Band is open to all 4th – 8th grade students of all experience levels.

All bands focus on performance and both the social and educational aspects of being a member of a band and learning an instrument. Beginner band requires no previous experience, while Concert band requires at least 1 year of experience on your instruments. All musicians will perform on campus for a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, Pep Rallies, and other activities throughout the school year. Students are also eligible to attend the additional community concerts throughout the year, including at a Dallas Stars Game in April.

 Students can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, bass guitar, and drums.

Tuesday, August 19 at 6:00 PM: Parent Information & Instrument Rental Meeting

Thursday, August 20: Band Begins

Thursday, October 16 – No Band (early dismissal)

Christmas Concert (All Bands): Thursday, December 11 at 6:00 PM

Thursday, April 2 – No Band (early dismissal)

Spring Concert (All Bands) : Tuesday, May 5 at 2:15 PM

May 14: Final Day of Band for 8th graders

May 19: Final Day of Band for 4th – 7th graders
