Music has always been an important part of my life. The rest of the music Learning staff and i can’t wait to share our passion with your family this year .
– Mr. jerry Bishop, founder & CEO, Music Learning
The mission of the Music Learning Band Programs has as it’s primary goal the continuous musical development of each student. It aims to develop the student’s technical and musical proficiency of a band instrument within a fun, enthusiastic environment. Music Learning Band Programs aims to teach each student self-esteem, respect, discipline, creative problem solving, and an appreciation of the arts through music education.
With the possibility of inclement weather this evening, we wanted to remind you of our inclement weather policy.
Music Learning will generally follow your school’s decision regarding cancelling classes. If your band meets before school, Music Learning may cancel classes even if your school is open. This decision will be made by 6:15 AM and will be announced on our website, Facebook page, via e-mail, text alert, and reported to CBS 11.
Please use your best judgement regarding travel to band classes. Your child will not be penalized for missing a band class due to weather and/or road conditions.
If your school is closed, band classes will not meet.
For before school classes, if your school has a delayed start, band will not meet.

We Need MLB
Does your school need an instrumental music program? Music Learning can help. Our staff can provide any type of general, choral, or instrumental music program for students Pre-K through High School. Schedule a meeting with us to discuss your school’s needs and learn how we can bring our program to your school.
New Students & Families
Getting started with Music Learning is easy! Please attend your school’s parent information meeting. At this meeting, your band director will discuss details about your school’s individual program including class times, locations, practice requirements, cost, and other band basics. A representative from Brook Mays Music Company will also join us to discuss their instrument rental program. At the conclusion of the meeting, parents will have the opportunity to sign-up for band and rent an instrument.

“I cannot begin to tell you what the program has done for my son. In just two years I have watched him grow from a quiet and shy child who would not speak in front of a group to a young man with the confidence to perform a solo in front of his peers.”
Thank you for teaching me to play the clarinet!
