End of the year information

Thank you all for a great year of band.  We have already begun working on next year’s band calendar and new music.  We look forward to having our beginners join our Concert Band and our current Concert Band members continue on in another year of music.

Please keep your instruments through the summer! First of all, having the instrument available will encourage your child to practice.  Additionally, if you rented your instrument through Brook Mays, you have been building up value in your instrument.  To retain that value, you must keep the instrument.  If you return your instrument, you will lose the built up value toward your instrument.

We Need MLB

Does your school need an instrumental music program?  Music Learning can help. Our staff can provide any type of general, choral, or instrumental music program for students Pre-K through High School. Schedule a meeting with us to discuss your school’s needs and learn how we can bring our program to your school.

Bring Music Learning to My School

New Students & Families

Getting started with Music Learning is easy! Please attend your school’s parent information meeting. At this meeting, your band director will discuss details about your school’s individual program including class times, locations, practice requirements, cost, and other band basics. A representative from Brook Mays Music Company will also join us to discuss their instrument rental program. At the conclusion of the meeting, parents will have the opportunity to sign-up for band and rent an instrument.

“I cannot begin to tell you what the program has done for my son. In just two years I have watched him grow from a quiet and shy child who would not speak in front of a group to a young man with the confidence to perform a solo in front of his peers.”

Thank you for teaching me to play the clarinet!
